Third District Fire Chiefs' Association MABAS 24 Inc. represents Fire Departments in South Suburban Cook County, Illinois.

The purpose of MABAS Division 24 is the mobilization of fire departments within the division to assist one another under existing mutual aid agreements, especially in case of fire or emergency beyond the facilities or control of any individual department, and for the mutual education and advancement of the science of fire extinguishment, fire prevention, public education, EMS, and Hazardous Materials.
